Who he is
Bear Novak is exactly what the name suggests: a heavily built fighter you recruit at the Gas Station, generally played as a heavy melee specialist. His background is that of a former athlete with a rough past, and on the battlefield he is at his best up close, where Strength drives melee damage and a solid Endurance keeps him standing through the pain that melee combat racks up.
How to build him
Melee in Urban Strife draws on stamina for both attacks and dodges, with Dexterity governing melee accuracy and Strength governing damage, so build Bear for durability and hitting power. Hand him an improved melee weapon, such as a nailed baseball bat, and use him to hold doorways and chokepoints where zombies funnel in. He pairs well with ranged survivors like Kaylee, letting them thin a horde while he finishes anything that closes the distance.
