Lucy Li
A starting survivor and the party's medic, and one of the hardest roles to replace.
Who she is
Lucy Li, sometimes called Nurse Lucy, starts in your party and fills the medic role that keeps your squad alive between fights. Medicine matters a great deal in Urban Strife: a survivor who is bitten but survives carries an infection for several days and has to be treated back at base, and untreated wounds drag down attributes and the action-point pool. Having a dedicated medic from the first mission is a major early advantage.
How to build her
Lucy is valued for flexibility as much as healing. Using medical items trains Dexterity, so she naturally grows into a capable field operator while she patches up the team. Keep her behind the firing line but within reach of the front, carry a healthy stock of medical supplies, and use her to stabilize survivors before infection or blood loss becomes a permadeath situation. Because a good medic is difficult to replace on the roster, protecting Lucy is usually worth more than pushing her into risky offense.
