Shady Lady Bikers

The local outlaw biker charter, running the wartime economy of booze, weapons, drugs and the black market out of a 24/7 club.

Who they are

The Shady Lady Bikers are the outlaw charter that runs the most profitable business in a collapsed world: liquor, drugs, sex work, black-market weapons and vehicle parts. They operate out of the Shady Lady, a club that stays open around the clock, and they treat every relationship as a transaction. Pay your bills and keep your word and they are the best friends you can have in Urban; break a deal and you go straight onto their kill list. Of the three factions, the bikers are the most openly mercenary, and the least interested in ideology.

Backing the bikers

An alliance with the Shady Lady Bikers is the strongest economic play in Urban Strife. Their representative, Honest Joe, sends the trader Bubba Gimme to open a well-stocked shop inside Urban Shelter, and Bubba's inventory improves every time you do right by the charter. Backing the bikers also converts an old office into a biker bar complete with a moonshine still, and opens the door to black-market weapons, fuel, drugs and vehicle modifications. As with every faction, four ally votes with the bikers makes the cult and the army hostile, so the wartime economy comes at the cost of two enemies.

Combat and companions

The bikers' reach runs through the county's rougher corners, and not every member is friendly by default. The recruitable survivor tied to the charter is Bubba Gimme, found in Little Italy, who doubles as the shelter's trader once the bikers back you. Community reports suggest siding against the bikers can complicate recruiting people bound to them, so if you want the charter's economy and its people, it pays to keep Honest Joe on your side rather than fighting your way through the club.
